#Druk Path Trek

Embark on a captivating six-day trek that begins near Paro and leads you across mountainous landscapes to Thimphu in the neighboring valley. This exhilarating journey involves an ascent of nearly 2,000m, culminating at an impressive altitude of 4,200m. #Snowman Trek

One of the most difficult treks in the world, it is also very famous. It lasts approximately 25 days and takes you across the borders between Bhutan and Tibet starting from Paro and ending in Lunana in northern Bhutan.
It crosses 11 passes, the tallest of them being Gangla Karchung La at 5,230m.
This is one of the most isolated regions in the country but recent developments have seen the advent of modernization in the high places like Laya and Lunana.

#Duer Hot Springs Trek

A nine-day trek which partly overlaps with the Snowman Trek.
A highlight of the trek is a day of rest near the Duer Hot Springs, one of the untouched natural spots in the Himalayas.
The trek peaks at Juli La (4,700m) but the trail consists of numerous climbs and descents along the mountain valleys.
The virtually pristine forests are home to musk deer and black deer. This trek is different from others because the starting and exit point is the same.

#Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek

A six-day day trek that takes you to alpine lakes known for trout fishing and offers fabulous glimpses of the Himalayas including Everest and Kanjenjunga.
The travel agent you route through can obtain a license for fishing if you are interested.
The trek’s highest point is at 4,500m. The trek will familiarize you with several hamlets in the mountains including camps of yak herders.

#Bumthang Owl Trek

If you are in for a short trek, this three-day trek which takes you through mountains of pine and rhododendron forests is perfect for the taking. The trail starts near Dhur village, a traditional village of nomadic herdsmen mostly.
The second day brings you to Drangela Pass (3,600m) where you can have great views of Gangkar Puensum ( 7,570m), Bhutan’s tallest peak.
Descending, you come across monasteries including the Chuedak monastery which houses more than 100 stone carvings of Avalokiteśvara, an honoured bodhisattva.
